Molly is able to this throughout her day. When I first arrived, a para came in with a teenage boy. The teenage boy reported that he had thrown up that night and he was not feeling well. Molly took his temperature and asked the para to take him to a room where he could lay down so that she could call the group home where he lived. After he left the room, she told me that this group home sends children to school a lot when they are sick. I believe she protected the community, systems, individuals, and families by calling the group home and having him picked up so the illness would not spread to the rest of the …show more content…

There was a staff member who believed she smashed a bedbug in one of the classrooms during the day. Molly said that she tried to explain to the staff member that bedbugs don’t come out during the day. Molly told her that she done a lot of research on the subject. The staff member did not believe her and went to the administer and wanted the have an exterminator come in and spray for bedbugs. Molly said they ended up having a big meeting after school in which she told them that if they are not going to believe the research she is showing them from the CDC what happens if its something huge would happen would they believe her than. She added that she had been there for five years and she believed that she had never given them any reason to doubt her. They ended up trusting the information and knowledge she was giving
