Scout Finch Reflection

The lesson I learned from this book was to not judge someone just because of their appearance. Also that people are people regardless of their race or their social class. Also that you should look at things from someone else's point of view.I also learned from this story that you should follow what you believe in and not care what others think. Just like when Atticus talks to Scout about how he has to defend Tom Robinson and how its the right thing to do, and that some people will not believe what he believes . In the story Scout Finch the main character, was an adventurer, she went out with her brother Jem and her friend Dill on adventures. Either playing through the neighborhood,or going near Boo Radley's house to see what he looks like. Through Scout telling the story. She tells us as we read the story how it was to grow up in the struggles of back then, During the Great Depression. In her town of Maycomb Alabama. She experienced the racial tension between people in her own town, just like Tom Robinson's case in court. Also how Bob Ewell treated her dad.
There really was no evidence that he did anything to her just like hitting her. His left arm got caught in a cotton gin long before this incident, and the person that hit her had to be left handed, which Atticus Finch said it was her dad cause he is left handed. But that wasn't enough to the jury. They just kept him in jail because he was African American, so he had no chance to over rule the
