In the first article, Screen Time Limits Are Vital for Children, the author says "Screen times takes a mental and physical toll on kids.". I believe this could be true in some cases, but from my experience screen time can help relax and help make a child feel better after a long day. Play is important for kids, as the author states "It helps develop emotional health, imagination, original thinking, and problem solving.". For much of my life, since I was young I have played video games and had a lot of screen time when I could. I have learned many things and made great relationships over watching TV and playing video games with friends and family. I beleive going out and putting electronics away is benneficial but I also believe screen time can be just as beneficial for children if not more with all the content that is made for younger and younger children each year. With the endless ammount of electronics being created and used in todays world I also believe learning to use technology at a young age will make it easier for them in their future.
