Jesus can give us good news but we can have hearts and ways corrupted by sin or have other things prioritized above it and Jesus can not bless however if we choose to receive his news we will prosper in life and receive blessings.

This refers to when the seeds land on the thorns and it represents when people hear about the word but worldly possessions and sin choke it to death such as riches, deceitfulness, and temptation. Because of this people will prioritize those things over the word of God.
What terms or concepts from your main point will need to be explained for your classmates to fully understand this teaching from your Scripture?
One of the concepts that I think will have to be explained is the value of worldly things and the value of spiritual things such as the word of God. Although worldly things may be more beneficial in the short term in the world things such as the word of God will benefit you with eternal life in the long term.
