Homework 1 We have to classify the features between two products first. First bag which produce in San Francisco has some features that makes it special. Firstly, these bags have special edition for each customer and they can specify their own bags’ features like colour, size, logo etc. Secondly, the production and delivery system is very systematically and this feature is very important for a customer. Thirdly, the customers that are high-quality can select all the properties of the bags from internet. On the other hand, the laptop bags that produce in China is not produce as fast as San Francisco. The other properties are not same but not different that much. The laptop bags are more complex so, the factory in China needs more labour and equipments with higher quality. However, its production is more expensive, they have to sell them with lower price for consumer type. Moreover, with earnings from China, they can hire more labour to factory in San Francisco. The other difference between these two bags is the volume of production. In China, the volume of production is more than San Francisco. They can deliver with lower price because of the wage rate is low and it is more efficient. The production rate cannot be so different for both because Timbuk2 has the system to make these production lines efficient as they can in every business. Moreover, the worker quality has to be same as possible because they do not want to lose their reliable customers. In China, the products are not handmade so maybe the automation of them is more than San Francisco. The level of low materials can be low because they buy some raw materials and finished them all in both factories. In San Francisco, the manufacturing and material price can be cheaper because they produce bags at the same time customers’ orders. In conclusion, the messenger bags have advantage like reasonable price, lots of functions and features, customized design, quality

Who is Abigail Williams? is she a liar, a witch or is she really just an honest soul trying to prove her innocence? Some people could relate to Abigail, but those people are probably the liars and cheats of this world. Abigail Williams is one of the characters that made the least number of changes in The Crucible. Abigail's lies never changed throughout The Crucible and she continued to be deceptive. She refused to tell what happened in the woods and she lied about seeing people with the devil. In the beginning Abigail is denying all the things Paris saw when he ventured into the woods and discovered the girls dancing in a circle naked around Tituba. Near the middle of The Crucible Abigail continues to lie about the situation and the people she blamed. Then in the end Abigail remained the same and vanished without a trace.…

    Child Labor Ethical Dilema

The pressure to produce goods inexpensively has driven companies to seek low-cost areas for producing those goods. In the quest to compete with low-cost discounters such as Wal-Mart, companies have been increasingly driven to overseas markets to produce their goods. Within the textile arena, especially, this phenomenon is occurring with regularity. One look at the label of the clothing in one's closet reveals clothing that was produced in Bangalore, Honduras, China, Bombay, and other far-flung regions throughout the world. As the world becomes smaller and the global marketplace increases, companies have been establishing plants in nations in which the labor costs are cheap. While many deride this practice as a loss of jobs in the home market of the company, others argue that consumers are demanding less expensive goods. This demand for less expensive, same-quality goods, is resulting in new plants in third-world nations, or outsourcing to companies who can provide less expensive goods because of inexpensive labor costs.…
