Second Degree Burn
Burns can have different causes which are scalding from boing hot liquids, Chemical burns, and electrical burns, fires from matches or lighters, and excessive sun exposure.
First degree burns are the least severe form of burns, it only effects the outer most layer of the skin, the epidermis. After a first degree burn the skin appears red and a bit inflamed, there is usually some pain and the skin turns dry and begins to peel. Because the burn only the epidermis of the skin the symptom of the burn begin to disappear once the skins cells start to fall off. The burn should be completely healed after about 6 days. If the burn affects a large area of the skin then you should see your doctor. Treatment of this type of bur includes soaking the womb

One type of second degree burns are Partial thickness, it is called this because it only affects the epidermis and the upper part of the dermis. This can involve blistering and the womb will be pink, or red color and will appear wet. The womb will grow pale when pressure is applied. The womb usually heals within 10-21 days with minimal scarring, only seek medical treatment if the burn affects the face, hands, buttocks, groin, or feet. The other type of second degree burns are Full thickness, they are called this because they affect the epidermis and most of the dermis. The womb will probably have felling, but the feeling will be diminished. The womb can be red or white, but will appear dry, the womb will start blanching if pressure is applied but the blanching will be sluggish. Full thickness burns usually require excision and skin grafting to heal which may take 21 to 35 days to fully heal.
Another degree of burns is third degree burns, this type pf burns destroys all layers of skin including the epidermis, dermis, and the hypodermis and usually affecting some subcutaneous tissues as well. The womb can appear black, white, dark brown (depending on the cause) and will be dry, it can also appear to be leathery in texture. There is no pain associated with this degree of burn because all the nerves are damaged. Never try to treat third degree burns, call 911 immediately, there is no set healing time for third degree
