KBSR or Kurikulum Bersepadu Sekolah Rendah is the English language syllabus for Primary School that aims to equip pupils with skill and provide basic understanding of the English language. KBSR helps students to be able to communicate orally and in writing. It helps students to improve their language skills which are very important in order for the students to understand different kinds of texts that are given to them. Teachers in KBSR also use several teaching context that have been suggested which are to be taught in the class. In our opinion, students can develop their English skills and improve their spoken English by using the methods in KBSR. Even though KBSR does not teach students individually like KSSR, it still manage to teach students effectively by using syllabus content that are given by the government. KBSR uses 1500 minutes of class time which can effect the other subjects that the students take. Other than that ,KBSR should consider assess the student language development individually so that the students can master the basic language skills to build their proficiency. It uses clear emphasis on summative assessment so that the students could understand the rules and correct their English better. KBSR uses sample sentence to the student so they can create new sentence from the sample which we think it is one of the good ways to improve their grammar and understand the English language without using their native language in class. Teachers should emphasis more on literary language so that the students could appreciate the foreign language thus making the students attract to the target language. KBSR uses lots of materials for example, from a textbook and activities in teaching and learning process which helps guide the students and help find different context. Even if KBSR does not teach the students individually, it is still able to teach the students the basic English using its own methods.

    I think it is naïve of the United States to not require a mandatory foreign language in its schools. I believe it is paramount for Americans to learn a second language to not only better themselves, but to strengthen their country as well. Being bilingual has too much upside to dismiss. The United States currently has no foreign language policy in place, but large-scale immigration from Latin America and Asia in recent years has convinced many Americans that English should be made the official language of the United States.
