Senior Memory Book
Tiny Tot
My early childhood has numerous events and memories that some may find amusing. These stories are still talked about today by my family who absolutely enjoys repeating them to my friends. I hope you enjoy the stories as much as they did. Here is my story, when my parents childproofed the house, both my sister and I would follow behind our parents to take all the locks off. Our family would go to a McDonalds and we would play on the playground my sister would always get lost and I would have to go and find her. I remember our first dog, my parents found him in their neighborhood before my sister and I were born. When I was about two, I had stolen a cookie from the cookie jar, and when my parents asked me what was in my hand I switched the cookie in to my other hand and said nothing. My parents think that was one of the cutest things I have ever done. When I was just a toddler and my dad would take me to the grocery store early in the morning I would rattle a toy of mine the whole time and drive people practically insane. I used to love to play with my matchbox cars on my little town on a rug. I would spend hours in our basement just making up scenarios. As a young child I loved to watch
Gunsmoke, Emergency and many more classic TV shows that most kids my age probably

have never heard of. When I was little my sister got mad at me all the time for creating what my dad called linebacker Barbie dolls;Which was when I would rip the heads off the barbies and my dad had to push them back on creating what looked like a football player in pads. When I was playing in my motorized car in my neighborhood I was driving it and not paying much attention and ran right over another kid in my neighborhood and then sat on top of him like nothing happened. Nothing very monumental happened, as I was just a child being entertained all the time. As I have grown older my memory has faded thought my parents continue to remind me of my early child hood,

I was tossing wood in the back of my dad's truck, reason being he wanted the extra wood we had from building our house to build a fire with. I accidentally missed the bed of the truck and hit the side of his truck with the slice of wood. I buffed it out quietly and sneakily trying to make the ping-pong ball size dent unnoticeable so that he would never notice the dent I had made on his nice truck while shaking, I never told him. Till the next night he walked into my room asking if I made a dent in the side of his truck. Nervously, I said yes and he told me…

The white and tan shaggy carpet that usually covers my family room floor has gone missing. It has been replaced by what seems to be a never-ending sea of toys. There was my Furby with white speckled spots, mousetrap the board game most likely missing more than half the pieces, Mr. doodle bear covered in scribbles, my Nintendo DS that practically had my eyes glues to the screen while I played, the stupidly dangerous moon shoes, my baby born- the doll the actually ate and shit, and then the whoopee cushion that I always found hilariously funny to slip under the couch when no one was looking. Yeah I loved all these toys, but where was my favorite? Where the hell was Barbie?…

About halfway through my bowl, when my grandma would get up to put on her night coat I would run quickly over to my grandpa and let him have one or two pieces of cookie dough before she returned, I would giggle as she came back into the room, cookie dough was one of our special secrets. When it was time to go to bed, I would snuggle between my grandparents, one hand holding onto my grandma and one hand holding onto my grandpa, the sound of their breathing and the crickets outside would lull me to sleep as my dreams took me into the next…
