The poem I wrote was created as a way to track and remember the changes I encountered each year. The poem consists of 48 lines: ten to denote each year, and eight for the present moment. The ten lines in each section are broken into three stanzas, and the theme of each stanza

The senior project was a challenge simply because the type of research needed was foreign for me. I had researched a few things in past courses but never like this. This project showed me I am not as disciplined as I once was. The senior project has been a revealing process, too. Both in identifying weaknesses as well as strengths. The skill set for attention to detail had gone lax, for me. Which was an area where I could be more attentive. Although, those are areas where I am somewhat weak. I also noticed my strength in assessing the important aspects of an article and then utilizing the information in my writing.…

Over the past few months, I have worked on my senior project. This project is compiled of many different tasks including a research essay, a product, meeting with a community mentor and a faculty advisor, and a sign of commitment, to name a few. To start the entire project, we had to choose an occupation and a problem or innovation in that field. I choose to research adverse drug reactions in pharmacy. Next, I created a sign of commitment to show I was committed to the topic and to state what I was going to do for my product. After finishing my sign of commitment, I chose to do a website as my product, for the general public, to explain adverse drug reactions. For the majority of my senior project, I worked on a research essay about the problem,…

Every athlete is always looking for a way to increase their performances. Whether it’s a football player lifting weights to gain muscle for throwing, a soccer player working on their foot techniques, or a swimmer who’s in the pool everyday to help perfect their stroke. All these athletes have one thing in common, to become better all they have to do is practice, practice their throwing, their foot skills or their stroke and though doing so takes a lot of strength when it comes to a runner, what can they really do to increase performance? Running day in and day out will only get you so far. Most runners say their secret to helping them reach their potential is simply eating right. As a runner not all people necessarily agree with this while eating right may have its benefits for a runner and mostly every athlete. I believe it is detrimental to a person’s performance.
