September 11, 2001 was one of the most tragic days in history. It not only affected the U.S but it affected everyone world wide. The actions took place in the United States, New York City, and Washington D.C. Four airplanes were hijacked by 19 Islamic terrorist group. All the attacks resulted in a large amount of death and destruction. There are so many conspiracies that it was the United States government had a part in the 911 attacks. The First attacks took place in NYC and Washington D.C, up to 3,000 people were killed and over 400 police officers and firefighter were killed too. They were successful with all the crashes except the plane that intended to crash into the United States Capitol building. The plane that was intended to crash there ended up crashing in a field. The attacks were said to be put together by 19 Al-qaeda, which was an islamic organization that Osama bin Laden ran. This is an organization that has been involved in several attacks in the many different countries around the world. Osama mentioned that the U.S. can avoid another attack like the 9/11 one, if the U.S. stops threatening the protection of their kind. The government think that for the 9/11 attacks was caused because of the the invasion of troops in Saudi Arabia. Some of the terrorist had lived in the united stated for more than a year taking flying lessons. Some of them came into the country a couple of months before this all took place. All of the terrorist involved managed to bring knives and other small weapons on board with them. As the planes took off, the 19 terrorists took control of the planes.

One was for the white house and one hit a side of the pentagon and the other two hit the world trade center in New York. The first 2 planes flew right into 2 skyscrapers at the World Trade Center in New York City. Obviously, the buildings caught fire and collapsed.
