Ford-Brown states (2013), “Impromptu speaking is the only delivery that has very little, if any, preparation or rehearsal” (Ford-Brown, 2013, p. 173). Serena thanked the Jehovah God, her friends, her family, her coach Patrick, her competitor Maria, and the audience. The audience was the other competitors, her team, and her fans. Her speech seemed a bit long, because she went into a bit of depth about how her team had helped her get through the past couple of weeks.
