During the show’s pilot episodes, Elmo is just a background character, meant to relay emotions through sounds and not dialogues but then, Kevin Clash gave this icon a new approach and later on made him a mainstay. Just as expected, Elmo’s color is something that pleased children’s concentration, enabling him to have solid appearances on every episode. In 2002, Elmo became the only non-human participant before the United States Congress in his sole advocacy of increasing budget for music programs within the
