Reflection on the book titled “The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People”
“Your life doesn’t just ‘happen.’ Whether you know it or not, it is carefully designed by you. The choices, after all, are yours. You choose happiness. You choose sadness. You choose decisiveness. You choose ambivalence. You choose success. You choose failure. You choose courage. You choose fear. Just remember that every moment, every situation, provides a new choice. And in doing so, it gives you a perfect opportunity to do things differently to produce more positive results.”—Stephen Covey “Every color, every hue is represented by me and you”. This song by Francis Magalona somewhat relates why people act uniquely in responding certain circumstances in our life. That our life is full of colors. Every day we live adds twist and color of our existence. That we experience different challenges but I believe that there are ways that may actually work and be effective for all.
As I read “The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen Covey”, I realized about knowing and nurturing the fundamental truths in our life and making them accessible to us at all times to the point where it’s easy to draw solutions to problems from them, making as a much more effective person in all aspects of life. Honestly, I got interested and reflect the ideas presented by Covey.
Dr. Stephen Covey is not only teaches us some tips but giving us some important ideas about how to cope up different challenges in life and also how to become a successful in life. This book encouraged me to do things to become an effective people. That by this, it will lead me of what I become in the near future.
