Rough draft:In the story “Seventh Grade” the main character, Victor learns that it’s ok to be embarrassed when you want something. For example, his friend has been scowling all day because he thought it attracted girls; when Victor tried it out himself, he felt very embarrassed because two girls were laughing at him. He felt that way because he thought he was foolish and because of the two girls laughing at him. Later he believed that it actually worked because those two girls weren’t laughing at him, they were just eyeing at him.In addition, during English class Victor’s teacher says,” Victor give me an example of a person,” Victor says “,Teresa.” Having everyone know who Victor had a crush on was very embarrassing for him. On April 17, 2011 PlayStation Network (PSN) was breached by an unauthorized source. Sony believed that the source exposed personal and password information – and possibly credit cards – of an estimated 77 million people. This is considered one of tech’s history’s worst security failures (Cooney, 2011). Due to this breach, Sony has broken many laws. The most critical laws that Sony “allegedly” broke were California SB 1386, California Law 1798.81.5, and California Law 1798.29.…

School was a real challenge to Victor, especially teachers who usually humiliated him in class. When he was in seventh grade in a military school, his teacher, Moses, ridiculed him in front of class because his writings always received low grades. However, when Mr. Swift, a substitute teacher, showed up and encouraged the class to express themselves by writing about what they loved and not worrying about spelling and punctuation, and when he got an A for writing stories about his brother Joseph, who had died when Victor was in third grade, and Joseph’s dog, he discovered a self-confidence he never had before in writing.…

This quote shows how the speaker is afraid of not knowing. He does not like feeling venerable or exposed so that frightened him which ultimately made him embarrassed to tell that story. He was not reluctant because within the story he had cried, as he mentions in the same quote, but because he felt like he “couldn’t comport [himself] with even a pretense of modest dignity.”…

The Catering Services industry has struggled during the past five years. Since 2008-09, a severe economic downturn has led businesses and households to spend less on catered events. Businesses faced with plunging profitability cut back sharply on catered events such as office parties, corporate seminars and product launches, and reduced average spend per head for events that did go ahead. The deteriorating consumer climate led consumers to put off discretionary events and choose to cater events themselves or spend less at a restaurant rather than use the industry 's services.…

“Girls, they wanna have fun!” Madonna did have a great clarification about girls in that song, but what is thought when someone thinks about girls? Make-up, dresses, and most definately shoes. However, for most men, the one word to describe them is complicated. They think girls always have those mood swings every now and then, or cannot decide on what to wear. One minute they are happy, but the next they are going to rip your throat out. Maybe girls are complicated in some ways, but what about school? School is that one word that most children dread, especially after the summer months that it follows. Some say that school is those “Seven Cruel Hours Of Our Lives.” However, a more confusing puzzle to the brain is when…
