1. Shell and Tube Heat Exchanger – Working Principle
The shell and tube heat exchanger comprises of two major things as its name state "Shell and Tube". The shell is a major vassel with quantities of tube inside it (Jalmood, n.d). Shell and tube heat exchangers are helpful for pressurized application. Heat is exchanged between the liquid in the tubes and the liquid inside the shell. Configuration of the tube pack is such that, all the section sides of the tube could be joined with a typical header and correspondingly all the way out sides of the tubes likewise form another normal header (Suvo, 2009).

3. Plate-Fin Heat Exchanger - Working Principle
The plate-fin heat exchanger is a single with plate and fin for heat exchanger. It is mainly designed of the beam and also the top of the plate (head). There are a few channels from its beam. It lies in each section of the fin channel between two plates, and it is closed tight on both side. Based on the liquid flow in several ways such as cold, hot liquid channel, alignment and overlay welding which is composed from plate beam.
