He helped start the Israeli-American Council, where he serves as chairman of the board. Milstein also serves on the board of several other organizations, including Israel on Campus Coalition, Jewish Funders Network, American Israel Public Affairs Committee and several others. In 2016, Milstein was ranked number 39 in The Jerusalem Post's 50 Most Influential Jews. He is in good company, Benjamin Netanyahu, Ruth Bader Ginsburg ans entertainer Sarah Silverman made the list as well. Milstein also earned a spot on the 100 Most Influential Jewish Twitterers.
