Once a crow was feeling very thirsty. He looked for water here and there. At last he saw a pot of water. But there was very little water in the pot. The crow thought of a plan. He picked up small stones one by one and put them into the pot. Water came up… The crow drank the water feeling very happy.

Once a fox was feeling very hungry. He looked for food here and there. At last he saw a crow sitting on a tree. The crow was eating a loaf of bread. The fox thought of a plan. He went to the crow and said. You have a very nice voice. Can you sing a song for me? The fox was waiting for the bread to fall down. The crow thought the fox was telling the truth. He was very happy. He opened his beak to sing and the bread fell down. The fox ate the bread feeling very happy. The crow was ashamed and flew away.
The Fox and the Grapes
Once upon a time there was a fox strolling through the woods. He came upon a grape orchard. There he found a bunch of beautiful grapes hanging from a high branch. "Boy those sure would be tasty," he thought to himself. He backed up and took a running start, and jumped. He did not get high enough. He went back to his starting spot and tried again. He almost got high enough this time, but not quite. He tried and tried, again and again, but just couldn't get high enough to grab the grapes. Finally, he gave up. As he walked away, he put his nose in the air and said: "I am sure those grapes are sour."
The Lion and the Mouse
Once when a Lion was asleep, a little Mouse ran over his face.
