A short story titled «The Girl Who Can» presents a well-recognized conflict. Throughout the story, every conversation seems to make its way back to a specific topic, normally followed by criticism: Adjoa’s legs. Her grandmother always complained, «Legs that have meat on them with good calves support solid hips . . . to be able to have children.» (pg. 12) Unfortunately for Adjoa, her legs did not fit the mind of the traditional elder, for they were the exact opposite. «Ah, maybe with legs like hers, she might as well go to school.» (pg. 15) Adjoa did exactly that. Jurassic World is a park on the island Isla Nublar, where dinosaurs run free as attractions within the park. The newest attraction ready to be showcased alongside the countless others in the park is the hybrid dinosaur Indominus Rex. The only problem with this new dinosaur is that it had been in isolation its entire life. «Animals raised in isolation aren’t always the most functional.» (Owen Grady) Ultimately, that was proved correct when the Indominus escaped its enclosure by tricking Owen and a maintenance man into giving her an escape route.
