Should Animal Testing Be Allowed Essay

Animal testing is when scientist experiment on animals to see if they can use the experiment on humans. It is usually to find a cure for an illness or for products. It may seem like a good idea but think about it. How much do we really have in common? How does it really work? Is it worth it? Animals are not the only method to get what scientist want. There are many other ways that they can use besides animals. Most of the animals used on animal testing are not protected, meaning they are harmed. Animal testing is also very expensive. Animal testing should not be allowed since it is not really worth it.
There are many ignorant people that think the only method to decide if a product is safe for humans is animal testing. When in reality there are many other methods. One of the alternative methods is Vitro testing which is an organ-on chip. It contains human cells and it functions like f it were to have human organs (Alternatives to Animal Testing 1).
There are certain test that do take care of animals but that does not include all animals. As you already know not all animals are protected by any law or regulation and all animals are treated fairly nor with care.
