Cause & Effect of Anorexia
Thesis: One common type of eating disorder is Anorexia Nervosa or for short anorexia. People with anorexia hardly eat at all, which can lead to extremely poor health
I. People wonder what this eating disorder is and what causes it. a. Starts out wanting to lose weight and get in shape. b. An individual is always comparing themselves with others and thinking thin is the way to a perfect body. c. A tragic event, low self-esteem, and chemical imbalance are a few reasons that lead to anorexia.
II. How can we tell if someone suffers from anorexia? a. A person will limit what they eat. b. An individual will have excessive weight loss. c. An anorectic person will find any excuse for not eating.
III. A person with anorexia can suffer extreme poor health. a. Their immune system breaks down and starts being sick. b. They body starts to break down and get brittle. c. Not eating properly can cause kidney disease, liver disease and weaken heart muscles.

Everyday a person is affected with an eating disorder. One common type of eating disorder is anorexia nervosa or for short anorexia.
