But it is not wrong to require people to learn the language that majority of the people are communicating in. There is no law forbidding people to teach their native language to their children a human rights violation. Family members can continue teaching their children their native language and culture, but also to increase their literacy in English. Being able to understand English has its advantages, such as applying for health insurance, doing paper work, voting, or any government operations.
