Jimmy became a better person by not stealing and making an honest living in the story. He was able to make better of his life and so that is the first reason he should be a free man. Jimmy saved a young girl's life. This is the next reason that he should not be arrested. In the story Jimmy Valentine rescued Agatha from the sealed safe even though it could have risked his own freedom. Jimmy Valentine saved someone's life and he
deserves freedom for this. The third and final reason that Jimmy Valentine should not go to jail is that he was proposed to get married. In A Retrieved Reformation, Jimmy falls in love with a woman named Annabel Adams. Annabel changes Jimmy completely and he lives his life like a changed man. He should be free because of his fiancé. Jimmy Valantine should not be arrested. In his life, he robbed and did wrong, but he changed. In conclusion, he should have another chance to be free because of all of the good that he did.
