I know it would be cool to choose the classes you go to in middle school, but it would not be right. Kids won’t choose any classes they would need to learn in these three years of our lives called middle school. You don’t always get what you want in life so, you have to learn anything you can to be prepared for life. By no means, should middle school students should not choose the classes they go to.
Kids will only choose the classes they like and may never learn what they would need to in middle school. I have learned that math and gym are favorites among students in school, which may leave holes in their language arts, science, and social studies knowledge. Some kids
don’t like these classes or school in general, but the ones who do would choose math and/ or gym.
Just because you want to be a NFL player when you grow up it doesn’t mean that will absolutely work out. Even if it does that isn’t going to be the only thing you do in life. Some kids don’t know what their future jobs will be. Usually they would hear it from someone or learn about it. You could hear that in a subject you didn’t particularly like at that moment. Many good things can come from other things you don’t like.
I know that many of you must agree with Marcus and Alex because YEAH it would be cool. However it has come to my attention that they failed to point out the chaos it could become. Some classes cramped and others neglected, the teachers without kids could get fired because of the lack of students to teach. We don’t want that. I know that teachers don’t want us bored they just have to do their job.
if I chose my classes it would consist of STEM, art, math, and chorus, but I know it would not be right for me or my education. I want to become a teacher when I grow up and I can’t only know math and that is something all should know.
