In recent years much more attention has been paid to media stars and media stars should be political or not. A group of people hold the view that media should be political, because people can't decide stars' behaviours, whereas others argue with stars don't have enough time do acting and politics at the same time. So, in this essay I will present the pros and cons of media stars should be political.
It might important benefit that pop stars should not be political is that media stars don't have a high level of education which means media stars can't realise or analyse the situations. It might also be noted that most of the media stars have entertainment companies to manage their job careers,so they can't make their own statement. For example, Korean stars are currently the most popular in the world, but many reported that all the statements and the sentences already for the talk shows ,reality show. The stars only need is a person who can help them to speak public. Some people just said stars like puppets which can be controlled by anyone else. Last but not least, media stars can't do the media jobs or political jobs at the same time.In a word, media stars need to practice pop dances, singing skills and do lots of exercise everyday in order to keep thin beautiful and fit, so they don't have enough time to think and analyse social problems.
However, there are also some others who contend that media stars have more appeal than the real politicians. For instance Jackie Chan always donate to pool people after he donate, a lot of fans also do the charities under Jackie Chan's name. What is more media stars can get much touch with many social problems. So they can realise the problems.By which I mean entertainment world is a good place to reveal serious social problems.
From what has been stated above, I suppose that pop stars should not be political, because media stars don't have a high level of education and can't do the media jobs and do the political jobs at the same time. Besides media stars can't public their own opinion about problems. So I agree with pop stars should not be political.

Celebrities have the opportunity to largely influence others and make a difference. On Twitter I follow an actress, Cassie Scerbo who is a youth ambassador for “boo2bullying” and the founder of band with me, an organization that sells wrist bands to raise money for different charities. She recently participated in the 18for18 benefiting the Somaly Mam Foundation, a nonprofit organization committed to ending modern slavery and empowering its survivors as part of the solution. In most of her TV roles, Cassie plays the bully or ruthless girl. By following her on Twitter, I get a glimpse of her authenticity that isn’t portrayed in her roles as an actress.
