Have you ever wondered how many out of the approximately 9 million people trapped in different prisons of the world would want to go back into their past to change that one action?
That one action that changed their lives forever, that one action that resulted in them being treated like animals which are locked up in their cages, that one action which snatched away the freedom to live their own lives as they please from them, that one action because of which they have to obey each and every single command of their jailer.

The aim is to operate the prison like a small town with all the facilities you would find outside such as medical clinic, supermarket, educational centers and workshops.
The uniform code of the prison is white trousers and shirt with different color of strips going across their chest informing the duration of their sentence. The prisoners are given ID’s which also works as a debit card.
Men and women and juveniles are kept in different buildings. The men are further divided into two buildings so the criminals with higher degree of crime such as drug dealing don’t mix with the other; this is to prevent their influence on them.
The prisoners are given activities according to their rehabilitation program, the inmates are also given the choice to continue or further their education. Other than this the inmates are also allowed brakes and can exercise, read books, watch television and even call their relatives.

He may have done it because of life threats, compulsion or due to peer pressure. The result of his behavior may also be because of his parents not giving him a proper upbringing or because of a traumatic event in his early life.
Even if he did it in sanity, he may learn his lesson after sometime.
I also agree that there are few extra-ordinary cases, people with psychotic and mental problems but this does not mean everyone should be treated in the same manner.
There are also some situations where innocent people are treated terribly, tortured just on the basis of suspicion, an example of that would be the 9/11 incident.
If the prisoners are treated by punishment, they won’t realize there fault but rather will be filled with anger, hatred and seek vengeance when they are released.
Prison should be a place for rehabilitation not for punishment. Analysis:
As all the 112 countries had the same way of operating, I figure must also have the same problem which will furthermore have the same root
