Many innocent people are put to death under the death penalty like In the article A Dad was executed for death of his three girls. Now a letter cast more doubts, it stated that the “death penalty opponents, Willingham case is among those that comes closest to providing the first time in modern era capital punishment that an innocent person has been put to death in the United States” (possibly 2). Just like many other cases like Willingham, this statement proves that innocent people are put to death for a crime they did not even commit. When the government kills an innocent person from a crime they did not commit. The government are taking another innocent persons lives away almost as if it was nothing. Nothing says injustice or fair treatment from the government then taking an innocent person life away. People who volunteered to fight for their country who knows the risk of dying but still willing to fight are the only person who should be able to fight in the war. You can't force people into going to a war they aren't willing to fight in. the government is taking away people lives, family, jobs, and living a normal life. War is never easy as people in the world stated that “war is nasty, war is fun, war makes you a man: war makes you dead” (O Brien 67).
