With that much travelling it is imperative that you ensure that your trucks and trailers are in the best condition possible. What should you do to ensure the safety of your fleet of trucks and trailers?

Firstly, you need to ensure that your trucks are serviced regularly and are roadworthy. If you are the owner of a transport business or courier company, how often should you service your trucks? Trucks must be serviced often and you cannot afford to miss a service. The general rule is to service your vehicles every fifteen thousand kilometres or once a year, whichever comes first. In the
Oil and water need to be replaced or topped up. If your truck doesn't have sufficient oil or water running through the engine, it can have an adverse effect on the truck. It could even seize the engine which can cause more damage such as having to replace it altogether.
