Temperament
The general characteristic temperament of the Siberian Husky is friendly and gentle, but also alter and outgoing. This breed does not display the possessive qualities of the guard dog, nor is he overly suspicious of strangers or aggressive with other dogs. Health
The Siberian Huskies are generally healthy. And the average life span of this dog breed is 12 to 14 years. However, just like all breeds there may be some healthy issues. Siberian Huskies are prone to hip dysplasia and eye disease. Hip dysplasia is an orthopedic condition in which the head of the thigh bone doesn’t fit properly into the hip socket. This breed can also be affected by juvenile cataracts and corneal dystrophy. Juvenile cataracts will starts forming before the dog reaches the age of two. Although the Siberian Husky maintain a healthy weight on less food compare to other dog breeds, they need to be on a high-quality protein-based food.
