You know, I think there might be few things more awesome than reading a book with a small child. It’s great for both the child and the person reading to them, so having fun books to read is important. Sigfried’s Smelly Socks by Len Foley is such a book. It’s definitely cute, and it’s definitely fun. Based on an apparently real pile of smelly socks (adorable), this rhyming children’s picture book is about bad smells and just what could be causing them. Is it the old food? Is it the stain on the floor? Is it the mess left by Sigfried’s baby sister?
This book isn’t just a series of rhymes about icky messes: It also has a cute little lesson! Which is that kids should clean up their messes. It’s no good leaving a mess hidden under your bed. That
