Though Alex is a criminal, the mind is made to wonder just how righteous the doctors are when they go through with torturing Alex as part of his reformation. Some of the doctors are even depicted laughing as Alex becomes powerless to demonstrate the wickedness of such an act. Upon restricting Alex’s vicious personality the doctors also take Alex’s love for classical music, depriving him of another human trait .
