Sim Venture

The hours bars on the status line (at the bottom of the page) help you manage time in your business. The bottom bar is an estimate of the number of hours needed to complete all your planned tasks in the month ahead. The top bar tells you how many hours you have available from your workforce

CLICK ON THE STATUS BAR
Many of the items on the status bar at the bottom of the page can be clicked to get more detailed information. For example, clicking 'Price' will take you to the pricing page.

USE THE NOTEPAD
Use the notepad to record key information that you may need at a later date. It can be accessed from the tools menu at the top of the page.

VIEW THE TUTORIALS
If you are new to SimVenture, you might find it helpful to view the animated tutorials (available under the help menu).

USE THE TIP TRAPS
Use the Tips & Traps button in the top right corner of many pages to get a range of useful business advice.

DO SOME RESEARCH
One of the first steps you need to take is to carry out some research on your market and competitors. (available from the home page under the sales and marketing menu).

USE THE MENU
The menu available at the top left of the screen offers an alternative way to navigate to the different business areas.

EFFORT IS ONLY AN ESTIMATE
The effort bar on the status line is only an estimate of the time it will take to complete all the tasks this month. If you keep this estimate lower than the time bar above then the game will try to make sure that you complete the tasks even if they actually take
