Why Do we Have to deal with death in our lives?Once in our lives we have similarities and differences like in A Lesson Before Dying and Making A Murderer. In A Lesson Before Dying there was a boy named Jefferson who went to jail for a murderer. In Making A Murderer there was a man who went to jail for sexually insulting a woman and killing her. In both of these stories is something to do with murderer, but death is our way of life.

Bill Cosby Said “I don’t think you can bring the races together by joking about the differences between them. I’d rather talk about the similarities, about what’s universal in their experiences.” Similarities comes out of life, even our lives. In both A Lesson
Before Dying and Making A Murder the people in both stories went to jail. Another similarity is that the people in both stories did not have a high IQ. These are the similarities, but we have differences too.

Stephen Covey said “Strength lies in differences, not in similarities.” We have differences to like in A Lesson Before Dying and Making A Murderer. One example is that in Making A Murderer the guy went to jail for only 18 years of his life, and in A Lesson before Dying the guy went to jail, but was sentenced to death. Another example is that in Making A Murderer they used discrimination by the police was blaming the person who got out of jail, and in A Lesson Before Dying the guy who got sent to jail because he was black. Final example is Making a murderer was a nonfiction story, and A lesson Before Dying is a fiction story. These stories might had similarities , but they have differences too.
