Similarities Between American And French Revolution

The American and French revolutions are different in many ways and only similar in some ways. For example, both revolutions were caused by wanting independence. But, America wanted independence from Britain and France wanted to get rid of the monarchy. The lower classes wanted to enforce equality instead of having the kings and noblemen overpower them. Both Revolutions were consequences from the Seven years war.

As said above, the American revolution wanted to gain freedom from the rules and taxes given to them by Great Britain. But, the Americans had no way to express what they wanted to Great Britain other than rebellion. So, they rebelled and went to war with Britain. Eventually, the Americans gained independence.
