Similarities Between Canada And The United Kingdom
Canada and the United Kingdom are very similar in countries and both have frequent and intimate contact. The two countries are more than allies, they are friends. The two countries share the same system of government and share the same monarchy: Both having their queen be queen Elizabeth the second. Although all of this is true, Canada and Britain used to be a lot closer. When the United Kingdom was one of Canadas founding countries, it was also its main trading partner. But, it hasn’t been since the 19 century. Canada has formed a closer bond with America, as well as joining the trading agreement of NAFTA. It is a lot easier for Canada to trade with the states and Mexico since the countries are so much closer, and nothing has to be shipped
