Similarities Between Coraline And Alice In Wonderland

The eerie lifeless doll, stripped of its features with each dramatic cut made by a creature composed of needles, as well the dark composition and sharp ominous score, made the opening scene of Coraline highly recognizable in the film industry and introduced the audience to a gothic animated world like no other. Coraline, released in 2009, focuses on an eleven year old girl and her journey through an alternate dimension that leaves her appreciating her own reality.
