David and Casey have many similarities in their stories. One example of them having similarities is both characters both had people depending on them. One way Casey and David are different is Casey toward the end of the story was greedy and over confident but, David throughout the story was humble and trusted God. Casey was greedy and over confident because he was getting too confident and was not giving all his effort and watched the first two go bye. He was being selfish and not thinking about his actions. But on the other hand, David was humble and trusting because once he slayed the giant he did not brag and he did not boast he gave all the glory to God.
