Then, quickly, all hell broke loose. Romeo and Juliet's cousin, Tybalt, fight to the death and Romeo wins, leaving Tybalt dead. Romeo’s punishment, exile. Juliet's father wants her to marry another man, not knowing that she was already married. When Juliet refuses without explanation Capulet tells his daughter that she is ungrateful and spoiled. Juliet comes to Friar Lawrence in search of advice and they come up with a plan. Juliet will agree to be wed to Paris, but secretly take a sleeping potion on the eve of her wedding day, making her appear dead, then she will be carried out to her family's tomb and Romeo will meet her there when she awakes and they will run away together. But there is a slight snag in the plan when Romeo is not told that Juliet is not actually dead. He is devastated and goes to the tomb that “dead Juliet” was placed and commits suicide. Juliet awakens moments later and stabs herself when she finds her husband dead. Then Romeo and Juliet’s parents come to the tomb and find their dear children dead and Friar Lawrence tells them what has happened. “O brother Montague, give me your hand.
