Similarities Between Romeo And Juliet

In the modernour world everybody know the t.v show “Who wants to be a millionaire.” This simple game simply is based on people’s choices. Your answerIt can either be A, B, C, or D, and all you have to do is get it right and you earn money and wrong you go home. This theme can not be more evident in the book Romeo and Juliet. The main theme in the book is people need to be aware of the choices they make, just like the t.v. show. Like the characters Juliet, Friar Lawrence, Tybalt, Mercutio, and Romeo. On the first hand, the importance of choicesit can be clear with the fight between Tybalt and Mercutio in the town square. Even though Tybalt didn’t want to get into the fight, Mercutio led him on and the scoundrels started fighting. The two begin fighting and they argue and when Romeo tries to break up the fight between the two, Tybalt stabs Mercutio, causing Mercution to blame and blames it on Romeo trying to break up the fight. Because of this Tybalt didn’t make a good decision because he killed Mercutio and which leads to a fight between Romeo. Even though Romeo and the other people at the “fight” knew it wasn’t a good idea and told Tybalt and Mercutio to stop, but insisted to fight. This lead to Tybalt making a bad decision and killing Mercutio.
Even though Romeo didn’t have to get that mad over the death of Mercutio, he wanted to literally kill Tybalt. The two fight in and out of the streets and buildings trying to kill each other. It looked liked Tybalt was having fun until Romeo got the upper hand. Romeo started fighting harder and was “triggered,” he finally got back at Tybalt and ends up stabbing Tybalt. Even though Romeo could’ve just let the death of MercutioTybalt go, he made a very bad decision to respond back to Tybalt’s doings and ends up killing
