Hinduism and Shinto are two similar religions that relate each other in so many ways. Hiduism is practiced in India, Shinto is from Japan and they both have different ways of presenting the religion. In India it is spiritual where in Japan is a way of life and the imperial family is considered sacred or direct descendents of goddess.
First let’s talk about Hinduism and its fundamentals. In the Indian subcontinent there has developed a complex variety of religious paths. Some of these are relatively unified religious system, such as Buddhism, Jainism, and Sikhism. Shinto There are other Shinto rites for occupations or daily life, such as a ceremony of purifying a building site or for setting up the framework for a new building, a purifying ceremony for the boilers in a new factory, a completion ceremony for a construction works, or a launching ceremony for a new ship.
Between the two religions I understood that they are similar in different ways that contradict each other, the Shinto follows the way of indigenous ways where the sun and nature is considered a high powers. The kami who is a family with respected lineage that is sacred for their society and considered as important to look up for many reasons.
In Buddhism, they are more into life and care about nature just like the Shinto believers but they are considered as a religion where even others have shared their beliefs. Even though not only Indians follow the rituals and other practices the same thing but changed certain thing and created their own
