Similarities Between The Lion King And Hamlet
Have you ever noticed how similar The Lion King and Hamlet are in their themes and basic plot?

The movie ‘The Lion King” and the movie “Hamlet” Are very similar following the themes of love, Loss, And betrayal. Such as when Scar killed his brother just like how Claudius killed his, Both leaving a small, helpless spawn who spiraling into depression after their father’s tragic death.

Simba ran off such as Hamlet did and began living his life thinking that he was the cause of his father's death when in reality it was his uncle who was currently destroying their kingdom with his greed and power which did ultimately end in his downfall and demise.

Between these things I don't exactly see how I can explain more. This whole movie spirals into

    Each prince also had a separation from the one’s that they loved most in order to revenge their father’s deaths. In the process of completing their tasks their uncles also poisoned their mothers, leaving them without any parents. Although their journeys sound quite similar so far, they also have many differences. Toward the end of Hamlet, Hamlet’s love, Ophelia, went mad and drowned; he accidentally killed her father, Polonius; and he also killed her brother, Laertes, when he attempted to murder Hamlet with a sword that had been dipped in a highly potent poison.
