Similarities Between The Lion King And Hamlet
In the texts The Lion King and Hamlet, the audience learns the importance of love, how dangerous revenge can be and the meaning of true friendship. There are several connection in both The Lion King and Hamlet, revenge is shown in both these texts as a dangerous feeling and it is never shown as fruitful and prosperous, it is shown a something that can take over a person and can never be reversed. While there are similarities in both these texts, there are differences as well, in Hamlet, hamlet goes crazy after his father’s death and seeks revenge of Claudius, killing him on his father’s orders however in The Lion King, Simba runs away from his past until he is visited by his father’s ghost who tells him he is “the true king” and after Nala

    Each prince also had a separation from the one’s that they loved most in order to revenge their father’s deaths. In the process of completing their tasks their uncles also poisoned their mothers, leaving them without any parents. Although their journeys sound quite similar so far, they also have many differences.
