The Interlopers and The Story of an Hour have many differences, but they do have some similarities that are usually overlooked. These similarities are usually overlooked because these stories are very different from each other; one is gloomy and stormy while the other is sunshiny and happy. This essay points out these similarities and differences. The Characters are very different in many ways. In The Interlopers, the main characters are both male, they are enemies turned friends and die together after a wolf attack. While, in The Story of an Hour, the main character is a woman, she is married, she has a heart disease, and when she saw her husband, she died from pure joy. The characters also have many similarities like how they all died
