The United States of America has always been characterized as one of the freest countries in the world and that includes freedom in the education system. In the United States if you attend to a public school you are assigned which one depending on where you live. In the United States, you are required to take some classes but there are others you can choose. In Venezuela you are not allowed to choose any of your classes. The school system select ten classes each school year.
The school year is divided different in each country. In Venezuela, the school year is divided in three terms. In the United States, the academic year in many schools is composed of two periods called "semesters". Some schools use a three-term calendar system known as "quarters."
There is a gap of difference in the number of students from these two countries.in the United States you find school with 2000 students. In Venezuela, the biggest school is about 400 hundreds students which makes easier the interaction between classmates. In Venezuela, the senior class usually knows all because you take all of your classes with the same people for a whole school
