Simon Sinick Trust

In Simon Sinick’s talk he covered many topics such as why we feel safe in the hands of good leaders, how we survive, and why we care for others. He tells us that the reason we care about others is because we trust them, we trust that they will help us the same way we help them. However trust is not something that can be done initially, it takes time to build up to as it is a feeling rather than an order. Yet trust was the key method of survival during the Paleolithic era, we had to trust in our tribe and leaders to watch our backs from the dangers when we could not, we had to trust that they would keep us alive. However in our textbook we see that leaders would not do their jobs. For example Pharaohs of the Old kingdom focused on power and
