It questions the part that men and younger boys take in the discussion of rape. She discusses how men are almost always erased from the conversation when it comes to rape and how it’s always about how the women could have not gotten raped. The crimes seem as if they don’t have a perpetrator. People would be quick to believe that a woman made all the info up and not that the rapist did anything wrong. She goes on to talk about the destiny of all boys and how “every American boy is at risk of growing up to become a rapist.” She writes that the things we are teaching kids right now can be misconstrued into other things that can make it seem as if we’re grouping people. We teach them to take certain types of clothing and group them as well. In class we discussed there being a time and a place for certain clothing and that's what they’re being taught, but who is it that determines what time and place is for each clothing?
