The likely functions of the garage are storage, work area.
The necessary items needing storage include 1 auto, 4 bicycles, lawn mower and other gardening tools and materials, camping gear, tools and equipment for home repair and maintenance.
The common functions include grinding, polishing, and sawing which create lots of dust.
The uses for the garage in the past year include major kitchen remodeling, surfboard repair, furniture stripping and staining.
There are many items used infrequently but are needed for home and yard maintenance such as the chain saw, and hedge trimmer.
A major problem is the large number of items in the category of “I might need to use that someday.”
I don’t know what items are stored in the garage that can be disposed of or given away.
I would like to know how other people organize their spaces.
I keep looking for misplaced items. This is a problem because it is frustrating and wastes time.
It is difficult to complete a project. I have to keep going back and forth to the garage to assemble the tools and materials to complete a project.
