Sin In Nathaniel Hawthorne's 'The Scarlet Letter'

A sin is doing what is wrong or not doing what is right according to God's rules. The Scarlet Letter is the story about Hester Prynne committing a sin of adultery. The consequence of her sinning is that she is forced to walk around in shame wearing a prominent scarlet letter “A” on her chest for the rest of her life. Hester was condemned by her own puritan neighbors. During that time sinning was a big deal, and anyone was eligible to caught and punished.
A sin is something that can possibly occur on a daily basis. Its an offence against religious. A sin can turn into a habit , but it's something you should consider letting go . there are several consequences to sinning. When you sin even if its not intentionally you should ask for forgiveness.
My sin is disrespect at times. My sin is not a everyday thing and it is not something I do intentionally. Sinning is not something you should be proud of. If sinning is occurring in your life it's something you should try to correct as soon as possible. The more someone sins the more they are separating his or hisself from god.
There's quite a few differences of how things occurred between each of our sins and how they were dealt with. Hester's sin caused people to gossip about her on the other hand my sin caused people to pull themselves away from me and refuse to help me do certain things in life. Hester was also placed in prison when i was only told to go to my room and evaluate on what was my reason for acting the way i did. Hester had such a big humiliating consequence because of the time period this occurred. Sinning what so ever wasn't allowed during her time, but on the other hand humans don't look at certain sins now days as such a big thing. That explains why the punishment now is not as harsh as it was before unless it's coming God. Her sin was also publicized when mine was only mention within my household because it wasn't for everyone to know
