I wish to preach, not the doctrine of ignoble ease, but the doctrine of the strenuous life, the life of toil and effort, of labor and strife; to preach that highest form of success which comes, not to the man who desires mere easy peace, but to the man who does not shrink from danger, from hardship, or from bitter toil, and who out of these wins the splendid ultimate triumph.…

A person’s journey through life should not and will not be like driving down a smooth road; simple, consistent and predictable. There are always potholes, bumps along the way; obstacles we must overcome or avoid in order to keep moving forward. If we don’t respond to these obstacles, we may crash, leading us to a halt, setback or even an end to our journey.…

Throughout life people take many paths and journeys. Whether those paths are the right ones or wrong ones, the path taken describes oneself as a human being and it explains the past and leads to the future. Some take the path often traveled, but the path less traveled leads to open opportunities and a chance to explore and discover new things. In our own lives, we strive to always pick the best option that best suit us, to enhance our lives and gain knowledge as we trek through the journey we call life. Life is like a door, but one must open the door and the step must be taken to explore one’s chosen destiny.…

Most important of all, I rely only on myself on these journeys. I will be alone, but I will not feel lonely, because I must be myself . Thus they will be my journeys, not anyone else's. I will never sacrifice my life, my belongings and my feelings to others; I will never contribute myself to the society, because Society never advances ; I will be honest to myself and everybody, never hiding my feelings and aversions. I will have peace in myself and only I can assure that. What do I need to accomplish my goals and finish my journeys to meet my destiny? Self-Reliance is the answer. Self-Reliance will be in all aspects of my life, religion, education and pursuits. In my religion, I will have my own God, who can be reached with my own heart, instead of a priest or a relative. I will never pray for the benefit of myself, like a car, a house, or a fortune. I will never give out my sympathy to anyone who does not need it because a real self-helping person will never accept love and sympathy from others. In my education, I will start learning from where I am. In my pursuits, I will never imitate others. I will never rely on Fortunes , because nothing outside myself could bring me happiness and joy. My ultimate goal, though I may never reach it, is to try to live in the moment ; I will have hundreds of chances for myself. There will be no consistency in my life if you look closely, but it will be a straight line if you see it from a distance, a straight line to my…

In most cases the process of constructing the manager starts at the business schools. The theories are discussed, case studies are resolved with optimum scenarios but it does not mean that the graduates are the ready managers. Mintzberg is giving the examples of the reasons why people want to achieve MBA – there is almost no mention of the management. In most cases MBA is a meaning of getting out of management than getting into it. It is a way of getting high positions or starting up own businesses but not the way to manage better or be the manager . In my opinion the management is all about accepting the responsibility but in business schools there is not much mention about it . In many cases the MBA is a way to accept high position with a high salary but not the responsibility as the last financial crises proved .…
