In Edgar Allan Poe’s story “The Cask of Amontillado” he uses sound imagery to describe Fortunato’s sickness. The quote from “The Cask of Amontillado” to describe Fortunato’s sickness is “Enough, ‘he said; ‘the cough is a mere nothing; it will not kill me.
