Should greenbelts be built upon?
The only reason for greenbelts is to prevent the extension of urban areas, greenbelt areas have no agriculture or ecological value, nor is it aesthetically pleasing or accessible to the public due to most of it being privately owned. Now urban areas are forced to grow into rural areas, therefore living further from work causing more traffic and emitting more pollution.
